Our Work and Mission at the Gambia Pastoral Institute (GPI)

As part of the Diocese of Banjul, GPI works for the Human, Pastoral and Spiritual growth of the local Church. We offer hospitality and on-going formation to Catechists, RE Teachers, Leaders and others involve in Evangelisation. Through our radio and television programmes and the Newsletter we communicate information and instruction. Our out-reach programmes cover all the parishes and outstations of the Diocese. The centre facilitates a growth in awareness of our calling as Church to reach beyond ourselves to ecumenical and inter-faith dialogue, while always remaining open to where the Holy Spirit is leading us.
